Would you like to perform rewarding work while contributing to the success of an established, growing company?   Pragmatics, Inc. is seeking a Senior ColdFusion Developer to support FAA’s SE2020 contract vehicle supporting the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) with research and system engineering

As an Senior ColdFusion Developer, you will be performing the following responsibilities:

Developing code (ColdFusion Web application development) based upon requirements, project constraints, and optimal use of technology and available resources.  The work will require hands on development throughout the entire SDLC, supporting the development of enterprise Web enabled IT applications, using various technologies to support client mission and goals.   This resource should be very familiar with SQL (including outer joins), have worked with a Framework (preferably Coldbox), and have developed/coded stored procedures.

Required Skills

  • 5-10 years of web applications development experience
  • At least 4 years developing using ColdFusion MX 7, 8, or 9
  • Proficiency using ColdFusion components
  • Proficiency writing SQL statements (preferably with Oracle)
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with JQuery
  • Familiarity with PL/SQL or T-SQL and writing stored procedures, triggers and functions
  • Demonstrated proficiency with at least 1 Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Proficiency utilizing IDEs for application development (Dreamweaver, Eclipse, Netbeans, TOAD, etc)
  • Familiarity with the ColdBox framework strongly preferred.  At minimum must have experience developing with an MVC framework

Desired Skills

  • Industry Certifications, such as CISSP, preferred
  • Experience with Java EE and Java SE, Spring and Hibernate
  • Experience as a Lead Developer in charge of architecting complex technical solutions
  • Experience with Web Services
  • Experience with XML
  • Graphic Design experience using industry standard tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of the FAA (eg ATOP, ATOR, ATOE, ATOT, ATOF, AVS)

Education and years of experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably MIS or CS)
  • 5-10 years of web applications development experience
  • At least 4 years developing using ColdFusion MX 7, 8, or 9
