Under general supervision, develops codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software. Has good understanding of business applications. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. May assist in development of software user manuals.
- Gather and analyze user, system and data requirements for new and existing projects.
- Research, analyze and recommend solutions, and specify programs, languages, tools and functions to meet the system designs for efficiency, ease of use and maintenance.
- Build new and enhance existing applications, web services, and other systems that interface supported systems using Cold Fusion and other web-based technologies.
