ColdFusion Job Opportunity in Springfield, VA

Key Role:
Apply expertise in and knowledge of supporting the day-to-day operations and administration of an organization’s internal or external Web sites. Leverage experience with graphics design, page layouts, and usability and review Web sites for adherence to organization specifications and standards. Demonstrate experience with troubleshooting system-related problems, as needed and exhibit knowledge of Web design principles and experience with Web publishing software. Perform development tasks, including design, development, and maintenance of Web sites using Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2007 and 2010. Participate in requirements analysis and develop solutions for sites. Contribute to innovation and build proof-of-concept examples that can be leveraged across current and future site releases. This position is located in Springfield, VA.

Basic Qualifications: -11+ years of experience with the analysis, design, development, and delivery of Web-based applications-3+ years of experience as a SharePoint developer or SharePoint designer-2+ years of experience with SharePoint technologies, including SharePoint Designer, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Office SharePoint Server 2010 and 2013, and Web Services-Experience with ColdFusion-Experience with C#, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, and Microsoft Office development-Knowledge of the .NET framework-TS/SCI clearance-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications: -Experience with gathering user requirements and writing design documents-Experience with performing customer service and support-Experience with graphics design or multimedia production-Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and SQL-Experience with at least one markup and scripting language-Experience with Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop-Experience with designing and building Web pages using a variety of tools-Experience with designing and developing user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements-Knowledge of Web services architecture and design-Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008 or Oracle-Knowledge of Internet protocols and relational database management systems-Knowledge of UNIX file structure and capabilities-Ability to work effectively within a team environment-Ability to analyze an organization’s strategies and goals relative to external communications to develop an effective Web site-Ability to advise and assist a design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s online offerings-Ability to manage, design, and develop Microsoft SharePoint technologies-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills-BA or BS degree in CS, Business, IT, or Graphics Arts preferred
