ColdFusion Job Opportunity in Springfield, VA

Key Role:
Apply expertise in and knowledge of supporting, building, and maintaining enterprise Web applications. Exhibit knowledge of Web application development, including server and client side and front-end and back-end functionality. Perform development tasks, including design, development, and maintenance of Web applications using Adobe Dreamweaver. Leverage experience with graphics design, page layouts, and usability and review user interfaces for adherence to organization specifications and standards. Demonstrate experience with troubleshooting system-related problems. Participate in requirements analysis and develop solutions for sites. Contribute to innovation and build proof-of-concept examples that can be leveraged across current and future application releases. This position is located in Springfield, VA.

Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including ColdFusion, Java, Python, or C++
-3+ years of experience with developing Web solutions using Model View Controller (MVC) frameworks
-Experience with the SDLC of Web-based applications including analysis, design, development, and delivery
-TS/SCI clearance
-HS Diploma with 15 years of experience with Web-based applications, or a BA or BS degree with 13 years of experience with Web-based applications, or a MA or MS degree with 12 years of experience with Web-based applications

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with gathering user requirements and writing design documents
-Experience with performing customer service and support
-Experience with graphics design or multimedia production
-Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, and SQL
-Experience with at least one markup and scripting language
-Experience with Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop
-Experience with designing and building Web pages using a variety of tools
-Experience with designing and developing user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements
-Knowledge of Web services architecture and design
-Knowledge of Internet protocols and relational database management systems
-Knowledge of UNIX file structure and capabilities
-Ability to work effectively within a team environment
-Ability to analyze an organization’s strategies and goals relative to external communications to develop an effective Web site
-Ability to advise and assist a design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s online offerings
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in CS, Business, IT, or Graphics Arts preferred; MA or MS degree in CS, Business, IT, or Graphics Arts a plus
