Candidates must also have experience working with software installs and patches, IIS 7 management and ODBC/JDBC interfaces. The candidate will work in a collaborative environment to develop persistent and limited event based websites. The Senior Developer will work closely with the Boston Financial Events Center and graphic design teams.
The candidate will provide high-quality, well-structured and well-documented code, interfacing with SQL, writing stored procedures and control language scripts, frameworks and services. The candidate will need to learn, review and maintain and administer existing websites. Candidate needs to able to communicate effectively with the Events Center, creative leads, client counterparts and other members of the development team.
Maintain web solutions to ensure quality, performance, and reliability and security. Design and implement navigation systems, as well as designs and implements components for web sites. Contribute to the development and execution of unit, system and integration testing. Participate in the integration of websites into application architecture. Assist with developing and ensuring compliance of quality and security standards.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide changes and demo software in short timeframes and dynamic situations. They should also show strong aptitude for learning new technologies in order to migrate existing solutions and software.
- Adobe Coldfusion 11 ( development & maintenance, adding ODBC/JDBC Datasources ).
- IBM iSeries DB2, queries and creating stored procedures.
- IIS7 Administration (Adding and maintaining websites)
- HTML5, Forms and CSS/3.
- Restful Web Services.
- Experience with source code management tools (e.g., Git, SVN)
- Experience with template engines and web application frameworks (JSP, Velocity, JSF, etc.).
