Responsibilities:
- The main responsibility of the DRILS Software Developer is to develop and sustain the DRILS application/system to support registered users. The DRILS Software Developer shall perform software requirements analysis, documentation, design, implementation, testing, and update deployment. Further, he/she is responsible to maintain the software configuration to ensure compliance with current USAF security and regulatory requirements and AF IT compatibility requirements. This is a full time position with the following duties:
- Maintain the system in such a way as to ensure:
- High system availability
- High data integrity
- High recovery capabilities
- Compliance with current USAF security and regulatory requirements
- AF IT compatibility
- Respond to requests for connectivity or data exchanges with other DoD legacy data systems
- Provide assistance to maintain DRILS registration in the Enterprise Information Technology Data Repository (EITDR)
- Assist in maintaining:
- DRILS Authority to Operate (ATO)
- Certification and Authorization (C&A)
- Defense Information Assurance Certification and Authorization Program (DIACAP) requirements in enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
- Maintain the interfaces with RAMPOD and REMIS to ensure the timely flow of data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Programming, with at least 5 years’ experience in software development is desirable
- Requires the following qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle (11g or higher)
- Expertise using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, SOAP, and the AJAX jQuery framework
- Expertise using ColdFusion 8 or greater, Java, and using the Fusebox framework with ColdFusion components
- Expertise writing SQL queries and creating PL/SQL functions and procedures utilizing the TOAD for Oracle software applications
- Expertise in web application security
- Expertise developing ColdFusion applications with the Eclipse Software Development Kit
- Experience installing, configuring, and working with the Tortoise interface for version control using Apache Subversion
- Experience with creating and managing database and application backups
- Experience documenting system changes, modifications, and creating CSRDs in the Information Systems Management Tool (ISMT)
- Experience with Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNOs) and implementing server and application software security updates
- Must pass Federal and State background checks
- Must be able to obtain NACI clearance
