WYLE-CAS has a requirement for a Web Application Development and Maintenance engineer to support the Joint Information Operations Warfare Center (JIOWC). Location of support is San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities include providing services for evaluating, planning, requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing, system integration testing, implementation, deploying, providing service and training and maintaining or updating JIOWC web-based applications or web-enabling a current system; developing web interfaces and graphics specific to the JIOWC application interface standards and rapid application development principle; performing web server software installation, upgrade, and patch management and inspections; creating and maintaining developer’s and user guides, and identifying and resolving end user issues; developing and updating classroom curriculum and computer based training (CBT); and performing daily inspections and assisting with certification and accreditation processes. Applicant must be proficient with standard software development languages (e.g., Adobe Coldfusion, Microsoft .NET and COM, C#, JAVA, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Visual Studio, Adobe Captivate), Microsoft Internet Information server (ISS) web server software, industry-standard web-application development software including Perl, PHP, Java, XML script writing, and newer web technologies.

Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in a related field and 5 years’ experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing, system integration testing, implementation, deploying, providing service to, providing training for, maintaining or updating web based applications. A minimum of 5 years’ experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and Captive, Coldfusion application and Coldfusion rapid application development language, Microsoft.net, Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) web server. Baseline certification of IAT Level 1 and appropriate DoD-approved IA baseline certification. Demonstrate the ability to establish effective working relationships with a wide variety of internal/external organizations, the combatant commands, USG and DoD. Masters degree can be substituted in lieu of experience. A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required for this position.
Masters degree in a related field is desired.
