CIBA Insurance Services, established in 1993, provides commercial real estate insurance programs to property owners, managers, and associations. Reporting directly to the Director of Information Technology the individual will be responsible for the following:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of new and existing enterprise web applications. The developer must be able to work independently and within a small group to deliver end-to-end web solutions for moderate to complex projects. The candidate must be able to define, document and implement the software development life cycle, utilizing existing development and source code version; control procedures.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Must have 2-3 years experience coding with ColdFusion 8, 9, or 10
  • UI/UX design and implementation
  • Well-versed in standard web technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience deploying and supporting applications on Microsoft IIS 7.5
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008

Highly Desirable:

  • Insurance industry experience
  • Microsoft Access migrations
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 administration
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery
  • Web development for mobile platforms
  • Version control
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a scientific/technical field

Start Date: Immediately
Position: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Up to $75,000 per year D.O.E
Job Classification: Exempt
