Robert Half Technology is looking for an outstanding Application Developer with 3 years of experience for one of our top clients here in Atlanta.

Responsible for the developing and maintenance of new software components, primarily server side applications in ColdFusion 8 (migrating to 11 soon) for e-commerce company, system operations and third party integration. Provide technical support for the application, helping diagnose and correct software malfunctions.

Duties include: developing/maintenance of software applications to support administration area system automation; developing/maintenance of third party business integration (eBay, Paypal); developing/maintenance of shipping solutions integrated to operation system; developing/maintenance of accounting solutions integrated to operation system; developing/maintenance of e-commerce web site; technical support for the application, helping diagnose and correct software malfunctions; researching new technologies applied to the company; developing content for front end web site.

Requirements

Robert Half Technology is looking for an outstanding Application Developer with 3 years of experience for one of our top clients here in Atlanta.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • 3+ years experience — Advanced Cold Fusion 8 (migrating soon to 11) programming
  • 3 + years in e-commerce, web applications (full life-cycle projects development environment is a MUST)
  • 3+ years experience — application database development with SQL server or MySQL
  • 5+ years experience — web service definition language (WSDL)
  • Strong skills in Java Programming (Servlets, JSP)
  • Experience with Universal Modeling Language implementation on development projects
  • Understanding of general networking concepts
  • Expertise in socket programming with a clear understanding of client server architectures
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol and intranets topology
  • Knowledge of ASP, PHP, PERL
